Insurance Coverage
Big news: We are now accepting clients with insurance!
Recently, the Medi-Cal health insurance program began offering doula benefits for members. My Holistic Doula was approved and certified by the state of California to provide full spectrum doula services to Medi-Cal clients. We offer birth and postpartum support as well as loss and abortion support at no out of pocket cost to the client - all claims are filed directly to your health insurance provider. More information about what services are covered is available on the DHCS website, linked here.
We are currently in-network with:
Kaiser Permanente (both Medi-Cal and commercial insurance plans)
Cal-Optima
Optum
We are not able to accept Carrot insurance at this time, but will hopefully be able to offer it in the future.
